WORKING WITH JUBILEE PAPER
The Design Process
The first step in bringing your custom invitations to life is scheduling an initial consultation so we can get to know each other and I can learn more about the wedding details and your vision. After that, Iβll send over a customized pricing proposal which will also include a payment schedule, project timeline, and contract. We can make tweaks to the proposal as necessary, and once everything looks good youβll be able to pay the deposit (typically 20% of the estimated total) and sign the contract right from the proposal. After you sign the contract and pay the deposit, youβre officially a Jubilee Paper couple!

Pre-Booking Steps
Mood Board
Before designing anything, the very first thing Iβll do is create a mood board. Starting with any inspiration images and colors you provide, Iβll do even more image research and put together a collection of images, colors, and words that perfectly represent the visual direction of your wedding. Weβll spend a lot of time thinking carefully about the mood board and making sure it represents your vision, and then weβll use it as our visual north star to guide the rest of the design process.
After weβve perfected your mood board, Iβll use it to design the first proof of your save the dates or invitations. Thanks to the mood board, we are already on the same page visually and donβt need to go through a ton of options to find what feels right. Even so, youβll still have up to five proofs, because I want you to feel confident that youβll end up with something you love!

First Proof
When your custom wedding invitations are absolutely perfect, weβll do one last print proof to double check for errors, and then itβs off to print! Iβve carefully built my trusted vendor list through trial and error over the years, so you can rest easy knowing that your invitations are in the best of hands. Once they are printed, Iβll take care of assembling and mailing your invitation suites, making sure they get hand canceled to limit the chance of damage in the mail. You wonβt have to lift a finger!

Printing & Mailing
Our goal is for every guest touchpoint of your wedding to be perfectly visually cohesive, so after the invitations weβll get to work on your day of wedding pieces! Think menus, place cards, signage, etcβanything that can be designed is fair game. Weβll use paper for plenty of items, but weβll also think outside the box and might use materials like acrylic, wood, metal, fabric, or stone. I love working with new materials and dreaming up unique executionsβthey sky is the limit to what we can create!

Day Of Design
Timeline
I recommend reaching out about your custom invitations and other wedding paper goods 6-10 months in advance of your wedding date, depending on project complexity. This ensures that you can secure a spot on my calendar and that weβll have plenty of time to perfect your vision. If you are also interested in custom save the dates, consider reaching out 12-16 months in advance. Keep in mind that the turnaround time from receiving your first mood board to guests getting invitations or save the dates in the mail ranges from 8-12 weeks. Good things take timeβthe earlier you reach out, the better!
Investment
Jubilee Paper couples believe that lifeβs biggest moments deserve to be celebrated well, and their investment in custom wedding paper goods reflects that! Pricing is a combination of a flat design fee plus printing and production costs. The minimum investment is $7,000, and the average Jubilee Paper couple spends about $10,000β$15,000 on save the dates, invitations, and day of materials combined. But I also love working with clients with big dreams who are open to wild concepts and unusual materials. These projects are all bespoke, and can cost up to $30,000 or more. The sky is the limit to what we can create together!
